Paris day 4 29/9/11

How can such a flat city extract such fatigue. So much to see so few days.
Our lucky day. After a quick visit to the Louvre, so overwhelming with size, variety and quality, we meet Kerry for lunch. We eat our bread, terrine, cheese, chicken cucumber and carrot on the most beautiful square. At the centre and bronze of a young woman bordered by a square of trees and quarters of grass and boundary of trees. A pity about the ill disciplined school kids having a water fight disrupting everyone's peace.
Kerry kindly takes  G & M for an open topped bus tour while Kate & David visit the D'Orsey. The hit of light when you enter Van Gough is blinding the paintings appear back lit.
We had a wonderful dinner with Kez at a place at the end of our street just a great way to spend our last evening in Paris. More later.
Tomorrow we do a bike tour of Paris before the overnight train to Madrid.
Time just couldn't go any quicker (time passing quickly when your having fun). We just have to plan how to get back here.
Tanya we have discovered chocolate heavens here photos soon.
Off to bed after another long walking day. How can you get so tired walking around such a flat city?
