Playing catch up

Back in Seville we all went for a bike tour. It was a gem of a tour and a lot less stressful than the Paris tour.
Our guide was an Italian living in Spain. He was enthusiastic about Seville and no wonder as he highlighted some fantastic gardens and parks.
We hit a slight translation/interpretation bump when our guide pointed to a structure and said "..it fell" We all look at each other and Ren asks "why did it fall?" The guide shrugs his shoulders. He points to a bridge that we are about to cross and said "...it fell" What another one?  Ren asks "why did it fall?" Another shrug of the shoulders.
Suzie gets nervous as we cross the bridge that had once fallen and notices some significant cracking. After crossing the bridge our guide points to a structure and said "...it fell" We all mutter things about earthquakes, shoddy building, rust. "why did it fall?" A shrug. Emma pipes up "..it's not it fell but Eiffel"
As we fall about laughing the guide looks at us puzzled or just thinking "stupid aussies"
After the bike tour (3 hours) we retreat to our house.
Later that evening after getting a little lost again we end up enjoying some lovely tapas and some beer and Sangria we again fall about laughing at misinterpretations.

Suzie and family  head off in the morning for a flight home.
